Mori Kaoru is one of my top 5 best manga artists. Absolutely STUNNING attention to detail, anatomy, clothing, historical accuracy, and realistic characters and stories. Turning slice of life into stories you care about, with art that is easily worth being a poster.  I love her women, too. They’re strong, independent, following their hearts while being the best that they can. Women slowly changing how women were viewed in history, simply by living their own path. 

I cosplayed Emma (terribly compared to AngelSamuis!!), and REALLY wanted to cosplay Amira, but I hardly look Central Asian in any sense of the word.  All of her layered clothes and jewelry…a costumers dream!!! ;.;
